In the interconnected world that we live in today, international broadcast journalism is a rapidly growing field with many opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in it. It is a field that allows reporters to give a voice to the voiceless, shine a light on dark corners of the world and bring international news to viewers all over the globe.

In previous decades, the only way to get your news was either through reading a physical newspaper or watching evening news on television. However, with the advent of social media and the internet, people are now able to access information from all over the world at any time of day or night simply by logging into their favourite social media platform or website. This has led to an increased demand for journalists who can produce quality content that is both informative and entertaining.

Over the course of the session, attendees will get to go behind the scenes and see how a broadcast journalist presents content. They will also be able to interact one-on-one with our presenter and learn different topics including;

·       What inspired the presenter to pursue a career in broadcast journalism.

·       The skills and experiences that contributed to where they are today.

·       What they enjoy most about working internationally as a broadcast journalist.

·       What kind of skills and abilities are required to succeed in this field.
